Doris Miller

Doris J. Miller grew up in New York where she starting painting at an early age. After coming to Virginia to attend Hollins University, she married and settled in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley where she became involved with VECCA, studied with Bernice McKay and earned an arts membership in the National League of American Pen Women. Her work has won many awards and consists primarily of landscapes in oil. She exhibits regularly at the 7-East Gallery in Woodstock and The Art Group in Mt. Jackson.
