Pete Buynak

A licensed architect, Mr. Buynak over the past thirty years has actively pursued his art education taking classes in various art media such as: oils, watercolor, pottery, bird carving, and recently has been studying the Flemish oil technique with well-known artist, Robert White of Winchester.

Besides exhibiting at 7 East Art Gallery, Mr. Buynak' s works can also be found at The Warehouse in Luray, Virginia; and at North Mountain Vineyard in Toms Brook, Virginia, where he has enjoyed a successful patronage. He has also been juried to participate in the prestigious Burwell Mill Show in Millwood, Virginia.

The recipient of numerous awards and recognitions, Mr. Buynak does not limit his subject matter in his paintings. With his architectural background, he enjoys the subject matter of barns and houses located in the Valley, as well as watercolors of animals and still lives.
